-Overview-
You cannot beat Cathay Pacific in almost anything! Their an amazing airline and If I had the option to fly them anywhere, I was instantly take up the offer, but this particular flight had me slightly annoyed. When I booked the flight, the aircraft operating the route was supposed to be an A340-300 , which are becoming less common on routes today, due to them being an old aircraft. I was very eager to book the flight on the A340, so I did just that, to only find when I arrived at the airport, It had been changed to an A330... My first thought was, wow... one of these again? My local airport is A330 capital and I planned the trip as an anti A330 holiday... but hey, you can't always get everything you want.
-Check in-
When travelling out of Hong Kong, you got an option to either Check-in at the airport or at their dedicated Check-in desks at selected MTR stations, which are Central station, Kowloon station and Tsing Yi station. I've always opted for checking in at the MTR stations as it's quickly and simple with their being a smaller queue.
-Lounge-

For today's flight, I chose the Cathay Pacific the bridge lounge, located at the far end of terminal 1. The lounge has amazing views of the tarmac and great pastries! The bridge lounge focuses on barista made coffee's, alcohol and amazing french & Italian pastries. There was a wide range of wood fired pizza's , pastries and Asian cuisine. In the lounge you can also find showers, bathrooms and an IT zone.
-Flight-
For the flight, I had selected seat 39K, which is a bulkhead seat and has tons of leg room! The seat itself was very comfortable and the flight had friendly cabin crew.
-Meal-

Cathay pacific hands out their economy class meals in these little bags on short flights.

For lunch today, you where given a chicken hoisin lattice pastry which was amazingly tasty, a NESTEA Lemon tea and an Anzac cookie. This would have to of been the best meal I've received on a economy class flight that only lasted 1 hour and 10 mins!
-In flight entertainment-

Cathay's pacific 777-300ER's and a selected amount of A330-300's all contain this newly updated IFE system. The touch screen monitor size is 9-inches and has a USB port to charge your mobile device and/or stream TV shows or movies from the device. Located besides your leg in the seat is also a power supply for your laptop.
-Summary-
It was a flawless class flight from Cathay Pacific and was probably the best economy class flight I've ever flown on. The meal was great, the IFE was perfect and the crew where amazing!
