-CHECK IN-

In Cairns domestic terminal, Qantas has dedicated check-in desks and Check-in kiosks. The kiosks are simple and very quick to use but if you're not much a tech savvy user, the Qantas staff will be more than happy to help.

-Seat-

The flight today was onboard one of Qantas's newly refurbished 737-800's, only a few have been refurbished. As I boarded the flight, I had seat 4F (seat 5F is shown above). Today's flight only had 28 passengers on board, this meant there where tons of space to move around! The seat itself is very comfortable to sit in and has a decent recline pitch.

-In Flight Entertainment-

Qantas's brand new refurbished 737's , don't contain any personal IFE systems but does WiFi entertainment, which you can use by download the 'Qantas Entertainment' app through the apple store (iPhone/iPad) or through the google store (android).

-In flight Meal-

On the flight, we where offered a steak & pepper pie (you can never say no to a pie) and a wide selection of drinks. Qantas provide the basics of cutlery, which is a fork and a knife, located in the red Qantas bag.

-Summary-

Check-in at Cairns was fast and simple, security was also a breeze. It was great to be able to try one of Qantas's refurbished 737's. It's slightly disappointing that there was no personal IFE and if you don't bring a phone/tablet onboard, you could be in for a boring flight. The seat was comfortable and meal was good for a short flight. The meal was pretty good on my standards for an economy flight
