Qantas is the second oldest airline in the world and is Australia's largest airline. The airline is well known for their safety records and is the oldest airline to never have a fatal accident. In the recent years, the giant flying Red Roo, lost $2.8 billion dollars due to higher oil and fuel prices but at the end of this year, has posted a $1 billion profit to soar back into the black.
-CHECK IN-

In most domestic airports around Australia, Qantas has dedicated Check-in Kiosk which makes checking in a breeze! All you needed is either a barcode from your confirmed booking or your Qantas frequent flyer card/Qantas club card! After check-in was completed, I made my way through security to the Qantas domestic Business class Lounge.
-LOUNGE-

The Qantas domestic business class lounge is located to the right hand side of security. To get to the lounge you go up an escalator and proceed through the Qantas club lounge into a faded sliding screen door.
The lounge is considerably smaller than the Qantas club lounge but there were still plenty of seats available. Inside the lounge there was a selection of hot and cool food, showers, Free Wi-Fi, A working area with 5 desktops and a Stocks exchange board. The only thing I felt was lacking in this lounge was the amount of power points but Qantas did have a few dedicated charging areas for phones around the lounge.
At the buffet, the hot dish where Thai Beef hotdogs which was absolutely amazing! Along with a Thai beef salad and a selection of cheese and crackers. There was also a wide range of drinks, ranging from soft drinks to wine to beers.
-Flight/Seat-
All Qantas 737-800 aircraft are fitted with a configuration of 2-2 with 3 rows in Business class.

When booking the flight, I had selected seat 1D, It's a window seat located at the first row of the aircraft and the seat contains the IFE (In flight entertainment) system and your tray table, both located in your armrest. After getting comfortable in the big seat, the flight attendants came around offering business class passenger's drinks before take-off (this is often the case on all business class flights around the world). As an added bonus, the seats include AC and USB power!
-Summary-
The check-in was very fast and easy, with a dedicated business class lane through security. The lounge was very quiet, it had an amazing view of the Tarmac and runway, and there was a nice cozy feeling to the lounge with a good selection of food.
The Flight and seat was very comfortable itself and provided great space! The flight could not have been any better!
Unfortunately, I did not take photos of the Meal and IFE so I'm unable to do a review on those items.
